The Signature Room at the 95th Celebrates 20th year and Revamped Domestic Wine List

It has been two decades since partners Rick Roman and Nick Pyknis opened The Signature Room at the 95th® and The Signature Lounge® at the 96th atop the famed John Hancock Building. Every year, over 800,000 guests enjoy the restaurant’s fine dining, contemporary American cuisine against the Chicago skyline. The Signature Room boasts an impeccable seasonally conscious, locally sourced menu, now with a wine list to match.

Sommelier and wine director Angela Aspito has been busy updating the establishment’s international wine cellar with the finest domestic vintages from small and large volume producers. Says Aspito, “I’m passionate about supporting the hard-working Americans who make great wine, and it simply made sense to add the stand-outs to our already exceptional wine list, and to add a wide variety of domestically-produced wines from which to choose.”
